New Looks

Brands Imaging has been increasing our involvement with the Philly Food Truck movement over the past couple of months. Two more trucks that we have had the opportunity to do full wraps on are Gozen Yogurt, a self-service mobile frozen yogurt truck and Moo, which sells delicious burgers, fries, shakes, and more.

The Gozen Yogurt truck really shows off what our printer is capable of. The colors are as gorgeous as the yogurt is delicious. This was a really fun project and makes me wish it was summer. You can learn more about Gozen and where they will be located at their website.

Another really interesting truck to wrap was Moo. Believe it or not, that cream color you see is a wrap, not paint. This truck really took full transformation, it was originally completely black. You can find out where Moo is going to be and check it out for yourself by following their twitter.

Food trucks aren't the only vehicles getting makeovers. One of our company vehicles recently had a new wrap installed, so be sure to watch out for us driving around. We did a custom full digital cameo wrap for this truck, completely transforming the look of the vehicle.

Prepare yourself, we have a lot of posting to catch up on. We have been working on all sorts of jobs of all different shapes and sizes. We do love wrapping vehicles, but that's not all we do. Here are some pictures from some work we did for Dougherty Electric.

Check out the size of that banner, it looks bigger than the billboard in the background! The guys worked hard to get it to span the width of the building and had no trouble successfully putting it up.

Dougherty Electric kept us busy for quite a while. A unique surface to wrap was the their generator. Above, you can see the material before it goes on the generator.

And here is the finished project! This just goes to show we can wrap almost anything you think up!

We've Been Busy

While this blog has appeared quiet over the past few months, Brands Imaging has been anything but. We have been up to a lot here in the shop and these are just a few of the projects we have had the chance to work on.

First and foremost, we added two more food trucks to our portfolio. Here is the Max and David's food truck which serves gourmet kosher food. This truck is still preparing to hit the streets, so keep your eye out.

We also designed and wrapped the Mini Trini, a food truck that serves gourmet Trinidadian food. You can check this truck out for yourself at Love Park during most weekdays.

While Brands Imaging loves working with food trucks, that's not all we do. We got to see our printer in full force as we produced a vibrant vehicle wrap for Color Wheels, which is part of the Fleisher Art Memorial.

Stay tuned for more!

Say Cheese

This week we have the pleasure of working on the Penn Dental Medicine Penn Smiles mobile dentistry RV (what a mouthful, haha).

I know that I'm always saying that whatever job we're currently working on is "the biggest job ever, oh my gosh, have you ever seen anything this big?!?" (and so on), but I think this may actually be one of the biggest jobs we've ever done. Both in scale and in process.

First there was the de-install of the previous full wrap. Brett and Sean are looking particularly enthused as they begin this step of the process.

Then we get to wrap it again! With fresh colors and new smiling faces. I don't even want to tally up exactly how many feet of a material and gallons of ink went into this wrap. It's so big I can't even get a proper photo of it.

Seriously. Although as big as it is- it still fits in the garage, which is a great testament to how awesome our (semi)new shop is. Never could have fit this in the old shop..

I know they're working hard, but I can't wait until they finish the darn thing so we can pull it out and I can get a proper photograph (and be able to walk across the garage again without having to take an hour long detour over the mountains, through the woods, and around the bus).

Stay tuned for the final photos!

Made Over

Here is the long overdue reveal of the finished Mainline Art Center's Arts Alive Mobile. In order for this to really work- first, scroll down a little bit and remind yourself what this truck looked like when it first came to our shop.

Then scroll back up and look at this:

It's fun, it's loud, it's awesome- and I am a proud mama.

Of course I couldn't have done it without the boys- my designs can only go so far without their crafty hands.

Pretty much: HOME RUN. I'm gonna take a few more minutes to sit around and be pleased with myself before I move on to the next project. Keep an eye out- coming soon!

Make Over

So many cool things have been flying in and out of our doors lately that I've barely been able to snap a photo! But I was able to catch this one just as it was getting underway. Below are some rare Before Photos of one of our vehicles, which I think will illuminate quite nicely just how much of a transformation a wrap can provide.

This faithful Expedition has obviously seen it's fair share.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to insult this fine car- but I promise you that when you see the final product, you won't even recognize it!

Stay Tuned!!!

At It Again

Hopefully you're not sick of buckets yet, cause we sure aren't. It seems like the tournament season may be coming to it's climactic finish- but who knows, I could turn around next week to find my entire office, printer and all, buried in fresh naked buckets eagerly awaiting some new graphics.

I mean really, look at the state it's in now!

Although it's definitely a nice small scale indoors project to be working on during this heat wave- so in the boys best interests I don't mind sharing the space with a few hundred buckets.

... and several dozen sheets of bucket wraps.

Of course, the graphics are only half the battle, there are still nylon cords and washers and something to do with heat. The end result being sturdy, waterproof, easy to handle and carry buckets that look awesome!

Still a little ways to go on these, but it's worth the wait!

That said, make sure to keep an eye out for our next big project- which will hopefully be as plentiful as these buckets!
